NAWBO-DFW will be conducting an event that is open to anyone to support breast cancer awareness month, walking in honor of our members who are survivors.
We will meet at the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in West Plano near the picnic tables in the pavilion in the main parking lot area. See map below:

The event will open with inspiring stories and then we'll walk the approximately 2.5-mile loop while discussing our personal passions, talents, and strengths and how we can use them for good. Discover your superhero strengths that help you be a servant leader while building lasting relationships and bonds with fellow business owners. Afterwards we will enjoy a time of celebration and light refreshments.
We are monitoring Governor Abbott's guidelines and will follow them for the event. Current guidelines recommend maintaining a six-foot distance, which is why we've chosen this great outdoor space for our event, to make that easy to do. We'll also provide pocket hand sanitizers for all participants.
Sponsorship opportunities are available - $30 for your logo to be printed on the back of the t-shirt and shout out at the event as a sponsor. (Must register as a sponsor by 9/25 and submit hi-res logo to programs@nawbodfw.com)

Event entrance: $35*
Sponsor plus event entrance: $65* (9/25 cutoff date)
Sponsor only: $35 (9/25 cutoff date)
*The event cost includes a free t-shirt to wear during the walk and a networking reception after. (Must register by 9/25 to get a free shirt)
Agenda:
9:45: Registration opens – get your t-shirt (restrooms are available to change into your shirt)
10:15: Program begins with inspiring stories
10:30: Walk starts, leaving from the parking lot, into the loop, and will arrive back at the parking lot
11:30: Refreshments and networking
12:00: Program officially ends, feel free to stick around to chat
Walk will be at your own pace – if you finish early, feel free to hang out by the picnic tables for the rest of the group. No one will be left behind! We are stronger together.
